WHO AM I?
Hi! I'm Jenny-Lynn. I'm sure you figured that out by now, but most people call me Jenn.
I'm a University of Manitoba graduate, majoring in Science (computer science) and minoring in Management. I work full time at a leading promotional marketing services provider, iC group as a Reporting Developer. In my free time, when I feel the need to use my skills for fun - I do freelance web development.

RECENT WORK
NEW - Denis Buchan Photography
Just launched in September '09! Denis and I have been collaborating on projects for the past 2 years. Be it a new band website, or graphic work. Denis is currently seeking gallery representation for his fine art photography - so his existing website needed to reflect his new style. To view the new site, click the image above.

Lash Love and Love Nail Bar is one of my favorite projects. I personally approached Angela about a website make over while she was applying my eyelash extensions. :) A few weeks later - the new Lash Love and Love Nail Bar website was born.
Lash Love and Love Nail Bar
The site features a user driven content management system where the ladies at Lash Love & Love Nail Bar can edit the website content themselves. Since most of their appointments are booked online, we paid a lot of attention to web site traffic. We focused on web tracking trends and search engine optimization.
But wait! There is more! I'm currently working on a Facebook integration into the website (via Fan pages and also working on a newsletter system. This website is a major hub for the clients of Lash Love and Love Nail Bar!
Ladies, if you ever wondered what it would be like to have long lucious lashes, give Lash Love a call. Tell them I sent you. :)
THE JD EDWARDS BAND
The JD Edwards Band webpage and myspace page is very special to me. Why? It was my first project - the site that made me realize I liked web development. JD approached me in late winter of 2007 and asked me to create his website.
The layout and graphics are completely custom, with photos supplied by Winnipeg photographer, Denis Buchan. The backend of this website is powered by Wordpress.
CASEY NOLIN PHOTOGRAPHY
In need for an update, Casey contacted me about a webstie during my last semester of university.
To accomodate her needs, we decided on a customized flash template, giving her the ability to manage her portfolio images on the fly.
AMY MIDDLETON - ARTIST PORTFOLIO
Being a fan of Amy's art - I offered her something that she couldn't refuse - trading work for work. In exchange for coding and hosting her website, I recieved a Robot Geisha piece from her collection named A Robotic Nation.
Amy did all the graphic design while I did all of the back-end coding (PHP and CSS) on Murderbird.com. Its built so that Amy can update all the images and text on the website herself. She is a fantastic artist, so please take a peek!
PATHWAY REHABILITATION
In need of an online presence, the staff at Pathway Rehabilitation wanted a clean and professional business layout accessible to ther broad patient base.
PathwayRehabilitation.com is also equipped with a content management system so their website will always be up to date with any new services.
CLASSY CLIPS
Classy Clips Inc. approached me last year in dire need to revamp their existing website. A few iterations later, (along with Graduation!) We've finally come to a product that we're both happy with.
The new logo design for Classy Clips was done by my good friend and fantastic graphic artist, Alicia Doan
